        HOMEWORK CLUB

The homework club was set up to help African children struggling with English language in order to improve in their schoolwork and to achieve their best at school. Since we introduce this project teachers have reported on a massive improvement on children’s work. Subjects learned by children ranged from Maths, English, French to ICT, Computer Programming and Science.

This project has also provided high quality learning resources for parents to borrow and use at home with their children. The aim is to increase parents' involvement in their children's learning, and to support improvement in the children's attainment at school, in an area where there is little spare money for families to spend on educational resources.

At Maco we provide great support to children and young people
